The BeliEve Foundation helps grieving families in Minnesota who are facing financial hardship after the death of a child.

Whether you are a grieving parent, or a friend or family member applying on their behalf, we extend our deepest sympathy and want to help.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

Eligible gift recipients must meet these criteria at the time of application:

  • Are parents or legal guardians grieving the death of a child ages 20 weeks gestation to dependents in young adulthood (up to 26 years of age).
  • Experienced the death of their child within the last 18 months.
  • Currently live in Minnesota
  • Have a specific financial need/request. Assistance is available for things such as:
    • Individual/family counseling
    • Living costs
    • Family respite
    • Transportation
    • Medical and/or funeral expenses

We strongly encourage families to identify a trusted friend or family member to act as an advocate to assist in the application process.
