We believe a lack of means should never stand in the way of rebuilding a life after the death of a child. We want to help. Please review the gift guidelines below and use the form provided to apply.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

The BeliEve Foundation helps grieving families in Minnesota who are facing financial and emotional hardship after the death of a child.

Eligible gift recipients must meet these criteria at the time of application:

  • Are parents or legal guardians grieving the death of a child ages 20 weeks gestation to dependents in young adulthood (up to 26 years of age).
  • Experienced the death of their child within the last 18 months.
  • Currently live in Minnesota
  • Have a specific financial need/request. Assistance is available for things such as:
    • Individual/family counseling
    • Living costs
    • Family respite
    • Transportation
    • Medical and/or funeral expenses

We strongly encourage applicant families to identify a trusted friend or family member to act as an advocate to assist in the application process.
