We BeliEve strong partnerships propel us all forward. The BeliEve Foundation is grateful for the following partners who help provide referrals, support services and resources to grieving families in need.

The following resources are trusted partners that offer local grief support programs for parents and families.


Camps & Retreats

Camp Erin
Program of Brighter Days Grief Center and the Eluna Network
Camp Erin is a free, annual bereavement camp for children (ages 6-17) who have experienced the death of a family member or friend.

Camp LIVIN
Program of Brighter Days Grief Center
Camp LIVIN is a weekend retreat for individuals or families who have experienced the death of a loved one to suicide. Held annually the 4th weekend in August in Maple Lake, MN.

Faith's Lodge
Faith's Lodge is a tranquil retreat for parents and families coping with the death or complex medical condition of a child. Programming consists of optional activities, including professionally led discussion groups, 1:1 therapy, therapeutic arts and crafts and north woods adventures. Offers both parents-only and family weekend programs.

Guiding Star 
Program of Joshua's Camp
Free family camp at Metropolis Resort in Eau Claire, WI for families grieving the loss of a child to a life-threatening illness. Water park and equestrian activities offered with therapeutic programs.

Hearts of Hope Family Grief Camp
Program of Healing Hearts Connection
Free camp for every member of the family, pre-school through grandparenthood, in integrated yet separate programs. Held annually in April in Annandale, MN and November in Hudson, WI. Includes a program specific to the Emerging Adult population (18 to 24-year-olds). 

Smile Again Ministries
Smile Again Ministries is dedicated to helping grieving families find hope and peace. Whitetail Lodge is their retreat center that offers healing to parents, siblings, and families impacted by the death of a child at any age.

 

Grief Support

A Mother's Love Initiative
"Bringing Back the Village" organization made up of African American mothers, fathers, sons, and daughters. Focus is around gun violence and domestic violence.

Allina Health
Free support groups and education for parents and grandparents. Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support groups offered twice a month.

Brighter Days Family Grief Center
Free grief support resources to adults, young adults, teenagers and children. Programs address financial, logistical, and psychosocial aspects of grief.

Bryce's Blessings
Provides lasting impact and financial support to bereaved families coping with the loss of a child, especially those dealing with ambiguous loss.

Children's Minnesota Bereavement Services
Monthly "Living with Grief" support groups offered for parents, youth, or grandparents.

Fly High Foundation
Dedicated to honoring infant angels by helping create lasting memories and committed to establishing long-term partnerships with like-minded foundations to help comfort and aid grieving families.

Friends of the Angel
Volunteer group that offers hope, encouragement and fellowship through the common connection of loss. Hosts annual dedication and remembrance events at the Angel of Hope statue located at the Maple Grove, MN Arboretum.

Garden of the Sleeping Angels
Beautiful gardens providing a serene place in which families can visit to remember, reflect, grieve and begin healing following the loss of an infant or child. Individual memorials available at no cost to families. Located in Orono, MN.

Halos of the St. Croix Valley
Offers emotional and financial support to bereaved parents who have lost a child from miscarriage through age 20 and reside in Minnesota or Wisconsin.

Hope for the Mourning
Dedicated to helping families find hope in Jesus after the death of an infant or child. Offers resources and relationships through care packages, mentoring and grief care groups.

Maple Grove Hospital Perinatal Bereavement Program
Pregnancy Infant Loss Group led by a Perinatal Nurse Navigator. Helps connect bereaved parents to others with similar experiences.

Missing GRACE Foundation
Support, resources and education for families experiencing the loss of a baby, infertility or adoption challenges.

Moms of Special Angels
Private Facebook group started by one of our BeliEve-sponsored families. Offers support and opportunities to connect with other moms who have lost a special needs child.

Paige Bears
Local organization that distributes Paige Bears to help comfort parents who experience stillborn and newborn loss throughout Minnesota.

Recovering U
Designed for family members and loved ones who know a person who has died from addiction-related causes. The focus is specific to the traumatic loss and the stigma that often surrounds an addiction-related death.

Star Legacy Foundation
Support groups, support line and peer support companions for families affected by all types of pregnancy and neonatal death. Also offers Spanish-Speaking Bereaved Parents support group.

Survivor Resources
Offers victim advocacy, education, and immediate and long-term grief support for family and friends affected by suicide, homicide, accidental death, or overdose.

The Compassionate Friends
Local chapters throughout Minnesota provide grief support to parents, siblings and grandparents suffering the loss of a child at any age.

The Grief Club of Minnesota
Provides a place where grieving children, teens and families find connections, share their experiences and heal. Services provided by licensed mental health counselors at no cost to families.

With Angel Wings
With Angel Wings is founded by three mothers who know the pain and heartache of child loss all too well. Provides continual emotional and financial support while creating a safe haven for fellowship to families experiencing grief related to infant and pregnancy loss, sudden death and medical conditions.

We Saw The Light
Walks alongside families in Minnesota who are faced with losing a loved one to suicide. Provides support and resources to families through the first year after the loss and hosts a private Facebook group.
